Rohit Sivaprasad did his bachelors in India and travelled to Sweden to pursue his master’s in molecular biology. He is currently enrolled as a PhD student to understand the roles of ubiquitin proteasomal system in hematopoietic stem cell fate determination. During his free time, he enjoys baking, spending time with friends, and winding down after a long week with some movies and anime.

David Linfeldt

Research engineer

david.linfeldt (at) med.lu.se

David Linfeldt completed his Master’s degree in Molecular Biology with a specialization in Medical Biology from Lund University. His research focuses on the ubiquitin-proteasome system and its potential as a tool to study hematopoiesis and cancer. In his free time he enjoys spending time in nature, playing sports and board games with friends.

Somdatta Pal

Master student

so1517pa-s (at) student.lu.se

Somdatta did her bachelor studies at Lund University in biomedicine, looking at differences between fetal and adult leukemia at a proteomics level. Having loved her time in Lund she decided to pursue a masters degree in biomedicine at Lund. She looks forward to looking into cancer and the hematopoietic system from another perspective, studying the ubiquitin proteasomal system. She enjoys trying out new experiences and for fun loves to bake, read, play piano and meet friends.

Adél Marx

Master student

ad6522ma-s (at) student.lu.se

Adél is a Biomedicine MSc student at Lund University but she completed her Bachelor’s degree at Lancaster University, UK. Previously, she has done research in the field of genomic instability in cancer, which remains a passion of hers. This summer, she is working on a project focusing on targeted protein degradation using the ubiquitin-proteasome system and its potential in studying hematopoiesis and cancer. Outside the lab, she enjoys swing dancing, playing boardgames, knitting, cooking and other such grandma hobbies.

Rita Ishac

Master student

ri4057is-s (at) student.lu.se

Rita is a Master’s student in Biomedicine at Lund University with prior experience in interdisciplinary cancer and infection research. Currently, she focuses on the ubiquitin-proteasome system and its role in hematopoietic stem cell maintenance and leukemia development. In her free time, she enjoys everything from crafting to studying philosophy, going on adventures, and spending quality time with loved ones.

Diana Catrinescu

Master student

diana.catrinescu.2713 (at) student.lu.se

Diana is a MSc Biomedicine student at Lund University, building on her BSc degree from Amsterdam where she focused on immunology, cancer, and personalized therapies. Currently, she is working on a summer project investigating how the ubiquitin–proteasome system regulates protein turnover in the context of hematopoiesis and cancer. Her interests include ATMPs, stem cells, and translational research. Outside the lab she enjoys sports, volunteering, spending time with close ones, and exploring new hobbies.
